ZNCC engagement with ZIMRA on tax policy/environment issues
ZIMRA Commissioners & ZNCC Executives
ZNCC on Tuesday 09 October held a breakfast meeting with the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) Commissioner General at Cresta Sango, Harare, under the theme “Enterprise Development, Corporate Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth.” The breakfast meeting was meant to provide an opportunity for Business to present challenges being faced on tax issues so as to proffer solutions going forward. The breakfast meeting came at time when Government introduced a 2% tax charge on every $1 transaction and some of the major business concerns were on tax charges and processes. It was a well-attended event which brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, policy makers and the academia. Meanwhile, the Commissioner General highlighted that Zimra has adopted a new stance towards building confidence in taxpayers by using a 4Ps concept (People, Partnerships, Projects and Processes) which is yielding positive results.
The ZNCC PR Team paid a visit to one of its members, Interlink Advertisings newly commissioned printing factory in Belvedere. Interlink Advertising Managing Director Mr. Collin Chiwanza guided the factory tour where he unveiled the company’s recently purchased Speed-master 5 head Commercial Printing Press Machine which has the capacity of producing 15 000 prints per hour. Interlink advertising is a Print & Advertising Business founded 15years ago, offering digital lithographic and large format printing services as well as advertising services for its clients.
