  • Linkage and communication with relevant stakeholders e.g Government ministers, Parliament, Civic society etc lobbying
  • Trade information centre
  • Stakeholder dialogue workshops on Trade issues.
  • Promotion of conducive trading environment in local authorities

MEMBERSHIP, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND TRAINING SUB-COMMITTEE

TERMS OF REFERENCES

  • Membership drive and functions
  • Public and press relations
  • Business advisory service
  • Business development and training services to members
  • Capacity building programmes
  • Linkage and networking between members and other markets both local and external for a fee
  • Congress preparations and management

MACRO-ECONOMICS SUB-COMMITTEE

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Formulate and monitor policy related to:

  • Production and review of fiscal and monetary policy information to Reserve Bank and government
  • Promoting ZNCC position on Macro-economic policy framework projects
  • Production of business news and economic information for the business sector
  • Economic research and development through a think tank
  • Dialogue with key stakeholders (i.e. government, labour, civic community and business parliament) on micro-economics issues.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Formulate and monitor policy related to:

  • Finance and Administration policy systems and procedures
  • Administration of assets
  • Budgeting and budgetary control
  • Production of financial statements
